After bidding farewell to our unexpected detour, we continued our ascent to Summit Resort, our main destination. Greeted by the friendly staff and a warm reception, we felt an instant connection to this place. With Barasinghe beer in hand, crafted at a local distillery known for its craftsmanship, we toasted to the bonds we were forging and the memories we were creating.
